Abortion.

I had a discussion with someone earlier about abortion, and it really got to me. I have always been against abortion. I read a book once called The Atonement Child. It is a Christian book written by Francine Rivers, and I would definitely suggest it to anyone. It really made me think about abortion and how wrong it is. Abortion is the killing of an unborn child. Why on earth would you kill a poor, innocent being? They did not do a single thing to deserve that. Now, some people say, "I believe abortion is wrong... unless the girl is raped or blah blah blah." Well, in that case, you don't think abortion is totally wrong. Don't get me wrong here : I feel extremely sorry for those girls who are sexually assaulted. No one deserves to have that done to them no matter what. Just like no one deserves to be killed for no reason. If you do not want the child, put the baby up for adoption. There are ladies out there who are not fortunate enough to be able to conceive children. They really would LOVE to have kids, while some people are selfish and just kill poor babies. Others would take that baby in and treat them with tender, loving care, which is just what that child needs. I just encourage everyone to think about what abortion really is. Basically, it's murder. That sounds harsh, I know, but it is the truth. Everyday in the United States, approximately 3,700 abortions are performed. Is that ridiculous or what? Just think about this. Next time you see a small child, you should stop and appreciate them for a moment. That's the least you could do.
