Judging.

“Judgements prevent us from seeing the good that lies beyond appearances.” ~Wayne Dyer
If you saw a skinny guy walking outside of the library with a comic book in his hands and a pair of glasses on his face, what would be your first thought? "Wow, that boy is a geek/nerd/loser/dork." That is what popped into your head when you read that, wasn't it? Yea, don't lie. I know it was. We all think of things like that, and we should all be ashamed. I will admit that it is pretty hard not to judge. You can judge in a nice way, but most people judge in the unkind manner. Example of nice judging: "That new haircut you got really looks good on you. It really makes people notice your eyes. I love it!" Example of mean judging: "Oh my gosh, that haircut makes your face look freaking fat. It does nothing to enhance your features; not that much could be done to help those anyways." Have you ever said or thought anything like that? I'm pretty sure that we all have judged someone in that way before. So next time you are about to judge someone, think about this: how would I feel if someone said something like that to me? It would hurt... So be nice! :D (or at least try to be)
